ACSI is a 501c3 non-profit community-based organization that provides needed services to economically and technologically disadvantaged citizens as we address poverty, which has long been the biggest obstacle to educational achievement. Poverty (mentally and socially) is our true 21st century problem. ACSI believes that the best way to combat the underlying structures of poverty is through education. We invite you to help us educate in a variety of ways.

Become a Mentor

By becoming a mentor, older women can help single women and teenage girls grow and glean from their life experiences. As mentors have received the benefits of life's experiences, they are able to provide encouragement, guidance, listening, laughing and loving.

Become a Trainer

By volunteering as a trainer, community members will have the opportunity to invest in the lives of disadvantaged women and teenage girls by teaching Skills for Life, Job Preparation, Parenting and Computer Technology, along with a wide array of self-enrichment classes.

Give Financially

ACSI is a nonprofit organization that derives its support from the general public. We invite you to help us help others by giving to the cause that touches your heart most.

While we strategically focus on less fortunate single women with children, the elderly and youth as we help them live life more abundantly and/or live out their dreams.

We accomplish lasting change through training and development, life coaching and advocacy efforts. In addition, we assist clients in removing legal barriers to their success.
